The following is an audio recording of an interview given by Judge Coady sometime in the late 1970’s I believe. It was recorded in British Columbia where Judge Coady had been a justice on the British Columbia appeals court. It was part of a longer interview, which dealt with his time on the court. This section is about his upbringing on Coady mountain and his father’s (William) effort to build a school and get the kids educated. He speaks of mundane topics like clothing and shoes (he doesn’t remember having any). While it is long it is a very good glimpse into how things were no so long ago.
